On January 4, 2022, the Waverly Belmont Youth Football program hosted a special ceremony.
The King Hollands And Gloria Mckissack Scholarship Award was a great opportunity to honor over 30 young men who played football with our program. These individuals showcased dedication by playing with Waverly Belmont until their transition to Middle School Football.
These outstanding individuals persevered, graduated high school, and pursued higher education. Thanks to the support of the KIDS and Coaches Foundation along with RBI Baseball, we were able to award each of these individuals a $500 scholarship.
Our commitment to empowering our youth extends beyond the field. We're proud to support these young men in their academic pursuits.

The Waverly Belmont Bulldogs were proud attendees of the prestigious 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, TN.
It was an incredible experience for the team to witness the excitement and energy surrounding the draft.

The Waverly Belmont Bulldogs (WBB) have positively impacted lives for over 40 years. As an active member of the Tennessee Youth Football League, our mission is clear:
“Our goal is to deliver the best possible character-building activity that not only shapes great men and women but also instills values of teamwork, ethics, self-control, and community skills essential for everyone. Research demonstrates the long-lasting impact of youth sports, extending from high school into adult life.”
We operate as a non-profit organization, classified as a 501(c)(3) entity.
